Agreement and Eligibility
By using the Linemitra app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Linemitra is operated by LineMitra.com (with address House No 1155, Sector No 6/1, Vantamuri Colony, Belagavi, Karnataka, India - 590016.). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental permission) and have the legal capacity to form a binding contract. These Terms and your use of Linemitra are governed by the laws of India, specifically the State of Karnataka (where LineMitra.com is based). Any disputes will be brought in the courts of Karnataka.
Description of Service
Linemitra provides a queue management platform for partner clinics. The App lets you join a virtual waiting line at a clinic, view your real-time position in that queue, and receive notifications (via push alert or SMS) when you are about to be served. You can also view your personal queue history and mark favorite clinics for quicker access. Optionally, after visiting a clinic, you may submit a star rating (and a comment) about your experience. Linemitra does not give medical advice and does not control any clinic's own operations or wait times.
Account and Conduct
- Account: Each user may create only one Linemitra account, which is tied to your verified phone number. Keep your account information (name, email, city) accurate and up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Prohibited conduct: You must not misuse the Service. This includes (but is not limited to) creating fake queue entries, spamming other users, attempting to harm or overload the system, reverse-engineering the app, or accessing data you are not authorized to access. You also agree not to upload defamatory, obscene, or illegal content.
- No abuse: You will not harass, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against other users. Any such behavior will result in immediate account termination.
- Enforcement: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in any abuse or illegal activity.
Privacy
Your use of Linemitra is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as described therein. (See the Privacy Policy for details.)
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality in Linemitra (including the app interface, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by LineMitra.com or its licensors. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as your reviews), but by submitting content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the service. This license ends when you remove your content or delete your account, unless retention is required by law. This ownership provision is analogous to a typical clause stating that "the Service and its original content… will remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors".
Disclaimers
Linemitra is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, secure, or error-free. In particular, we cannot guarantee the exact timing or order of queue calls — the actual wait times and service order are controlled by the clinics. We disclaim all liability for any delays, errors, or issues caused by third parties (such as the clinics or network providers). This is similar to a standard disclaimer: "The Service is provided… without warranty of any kind".
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will LineMitra.com or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising out of your use of Linemitra. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you have actually paid to us in the past 12 months (or a nominal amount if you have not paid any fees). For example, many services limit liability to the user's payments or a small fixed sum.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LineMitra.com and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, or (c) any content you submit.
Changes and Termination
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and notify you (for example, via in-app message). Your continued use of Linemitra after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time (contact us or use the app's delete option), and we will process your data accordingly. LineMitra.com may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service for any reason (such as breach of these Terms). We may also discontinue the Service entirely, with reasonable notice. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
General
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect (severability). This document, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and LineMitra.com regarding Linemitra. Failure by us to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. We may send you notices by email or in-app messages. These Terms are interpreted without regard to any conflicts-of-law rules.
